JuneYao Airlines was authorized by General Administration of the Civil Aviation of China and Shanghai Municipal Government in June 2005 with a registered capital of RMB 150 million Yuan. JuneYao Airlines Co.,Ltd. is a privately owned airline jointly invested in by the Shanghai JuneYao Group Co.,Ltd. and the Shanghai JuneYao Aviation Investment Co.,Ltd.. Both the? Shanghai JuneYao Group ?Co.,Ltd. and the Shanghai JuneYao Aviation Investment Co.,Ltd are fully funded subsidiaries of ?the JuneYao Group. JuneYao Airlines is engaged in domestic passenger, cargo and mail transportation, general aviation service, business tourism chartered services, aircraft maintenance, spare-parts processing and repairing, and other services related to its main businesses.
Shanghai JuneYao Airlines imported three Airbus A320 family aircraft in 2006 and made its maiden commercial flight in September. The fleet is expected to reach 36 aircraft by 2010, including 10 wide body airliners of 250 seats, forming a fleet with Airbus A320 and A350 family. Shanghai JuneYao Airlines is centralized in Shanghai, reaches out to intercontinental areas and forms a network that focuses on domestic and neighboring regional routes. It is planned that by the year of 2008 a network covering domestic and international major cities will be established with bases at Shanghai Hongqiao and Pudong Airport. And by the year of 2010 a nationwide network with Shanghai neignboring cities as the transfer stations will be formed and international flights from Shanghai to Europe, Central and South America, North America, Southeast Asia and Pacific countries will be gradually launched.
