Three Gorges Tourist Center is a large comprehensive tourist service facility establis-hed to expand Yichang tourism industry, enlarge tourist market, and promote tourist product sales and to propel the devel- opment of related industry to make Yichang an internation-ally famous city for hydropower and tourism. The center is located at No.58, Fazhan Avenue, Yichang Development Zone, only 300 meter to the access of Yi-Huang Highway. It has Wuhan on its east, reaches Three Gorges Dam on its west, extends to Shennongjia on its north and connects to city center on its south. No. 12 public bus leads to the center directly. Three Gorges Tourist Center occupies a land area of 6835 square meters with a floorage of 8650 square meters. The Tourist Center provides a variety of services including tourist consultancy, tourist site recommendation, tourist commodities, commercial gifts, local special products exhibition and sales, tourist group catering, Three Gorges special food, entertainment and recreation, and Three Gorges folk custom and performance. Tourist Center is the largest tourist hub and tourism shopping center in Three Gorges region. The Center has a large parking space of 2000 square meters, a forest and agricultural special products exhibition center which can accommodate 2000 tourists and a Xiangyue hotel that provide meals for 800 people at the same time.
