Yichang JuneYao International Plaza is located at the prime site in centerof Yichang city, facin-g the largest Yilin Square. The project occupies a land of 21 mu (app. 1.4 hectare) with a floorage of 101,632 square meters. The project was initiated on June 16th 2003 and is expected to finish by the end of 2007. Total investment for Yichang JuneYao Internati-onal Plaza will exceed RMB 700 million Yuan.
Yichang JuneYao Plaza is located at No.10, Xilin 1st Road, axis of the city, with a height of 153.65 meters. The design approach combines "Three Gorges Valley, Yangtze Rive Source and Great Dam". The 36-storey glass patio is surrounded by hotel room, as magnificent as Yangtze River passing through Three Gorges. Yichang city is one of the Top 11 key tourist cities in China. The city has over 350 open sites for tourists with 100 famous tourist attractions. Yangtze River, Three Gorges Gallery, Zhongbao Island in Three Gorges Project and Gezhouba Reservoir are globally well-known sites for tourists. 200 kilometer gallery in Three Gorges was listed as one of the Top Ten Scenic Spots in China in 1985. in 1991 it was given the first place for "Top 40 Chinese Tourist Attractions" With the development of Three Gorges Project, this place has become a hot spot for domestic and international tourists.
In the State Council Project Migration & Counterpart Aid meeting in July 2001, Premier Zhu Rongji stated that Yichang city will become a world-class tourism city for water scenery and hydropower. Three Gorges Project is in Yichang city, and tourists from overseas countries will come here to see its ecological environment. Therefore the urban planning must be done with high quality and world class design institution will be engaged to help with the planning.
Three Gorges Project is a World Super Project that catches international attention. It is the project leading the growth of whole Yangtze River Economic Zone. The comprehensive benefit will influence one third national population, 40% overall economy and on fifth of whole country including central China, east China, and east Sichuan province. Yichang city becomes China's larges hydropower base and national power center.
With excellent transportation edges of JuneYao chartered flight, Wuhan air transportation and Three Gorges airport, JuneYao Group will fully utilize the power resource in Yichang city as well as tourist resource of Yangtze River and virgin forest of Shennongjia to stimulate tourist economy in whole east and west Yangtze River region. Currently JuneYao Group is planning and preparing overall tourist project.
JuneYao aviation will establish its command center and training center here. Furthermore, an office and research multi-purpose building of 30,000-50,000 square meters will be constructed with supporting facilities of hotel, supermarket, recreation, and hotel apartment for renting or selling.
