2007 is the second year since JuneYao launched its transformation towards the modern service industry, where all the employees remained adhered to this goal and witnessed a number of landmarks: the Group was franchised firstly as the senior sponsors of the 2010 World Expo; JuneYao Airlines achieved the Greatest Potential Award by a whole year of safe operation; Wuxi Commercial Building was successfully turned into a luxury shopping mall; Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle and Primary Schools became an authorized member of International Baccalaureate Organization. I was delighted to feel that the Group was pressing ahead indeed toward the goal of the modern service industry.

I still remember my words when I have Huang Hui take over the position of CEO in 2005: we may not necessarily only focus on the market in developing a company¡¯s international level. Instead, we may first target management to build up our strength before achieving stable advancement. I said so because we didn¡¯t have abundant international human resources and therefore we were in badly need of international visions and resources, needless to mention international business and corporate culture. Around the end of 2004, I was thinking a question over and over: as a rare Chinese private enterprise of over ten years¡¯ history, what should we do to secure the good situation and in turn to live up to all our employees and those who really care for us. I got the key later: we want a better strategy of sustainable growth.

As a result, I proposed the corporate goal of a century-honored corporation in 2005, centered on which, I gave a supportive five-year plan in 2006, followed by new missions and core values, which were to direct the thorough transformation toward the modern service industry.

Our team have overcome numerous extreme difficulties and undergone unprecedented challenges. I was so impressed with an annual conference, where the managers vowed in voice to realize the Group¡¯s goal aiming for the modern service industry.

Today, we have seen some preliminary effects: the modern service business represented by air transportation and Marketing Service has helped realized our three-year periodical goal with focused and developed major business, diversified investment capitals and enhanced Corporate governance.

To summarize the past three years, I think we just did something right. However, I even want more in my mind. My ambition is to hit the three major goals by 2010: namely, a turnover of over RMB20 billion, corporate governing good to both shareholders and managers, 1 or 2 listed companies for a foreign business volume of 10%.

In this respect, 2008 is a critical connection of the past and the future. We should definitely allow no self-complacence and laziness so as to make enormous progress in the five main fields: first, continue the transformation to further develop our main business; second, promote business efficiency to increase the values; third, better improve the human resources base for management; fourth, well build corporate culture and benefit the employees; fifth, fulfill our social responsibilities to prove a qualified corporate citizen.

Now, with our boosting business, we are even approaching the goal of a century-honored corporation a little bit with stable steps. I think my words to the employees, the news media and the society in 2004 were proved: JuneYao would never change in its brand and social responsibility.

Upon the invitation of the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and the Office of Global Compact, I attend the Global Compact Leaders Summit in Geneva with the other private entrepreneurs last July.? I presented the Report of JuneYao¡¯s Social Responsibilities, which reflected our consistent pursuit: we strive to be a distinctive corporate citizen, to satisfy customers, shareholders, employees and the whole society, to realize the sustainable growth towards the goal of a century-honored corporation, and to contribute ourselves to the harmonious country.

In the Olympic Year of 2008, it is my belief that the Group will be inspired by the Olympic ethics to move ahead faster, better and farther in the next three years.
