June 2nd, Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School welcomed again the delegation of authorization which consisted of Mr. Nigel Forbes-Harper, Director of DP Asia Office, Ms Wang Hong, Representative of DP China and Mongolia. Wang Junjin, Chairman of JuneYao Group and SWFLMS, Zhu Jianhua, Deputy Head of Education Administration of Xuhui District and Xu Jian, Principal of SWFLMS attended the conference with the delegation.
After Xu Jian¡¯s presentation on the preparation of DP Program, Chairman Wang Jun Jin addressed the conference on behalf of the School Board that JuneYao Group and the School Board would provide financial support as always to DP Program and were looking forward to the authority to link IB¡¯s PYP, MYP and DP Programs, which would be a great landmark of the Group in building a century-honored school.
The next day of the delegation¡¯s visit, SWFLMS received the official authorization letter by the Director of DP Asia Office in Singapore. The letter said, ¡°SWFLMS has made great progress in IBDP Programs and its early involvement and practice experience of PYP and MYP Programs have laid a solid foundation for the success of DP Program. Particularly praiseworthy, the School has focused on the core courses of TOK and CAS in preparing DP Program, through which the Chairman and DP trainer team have had a profound understanding on IB concepts and translated them into practice.¡± |
